THE GLOBAL VILLAGE SUMMER EVENT IN FLORENCE (FORTEZZA D'ESTATE 2011)

 Well I suggest you the Global Village events at the Fortezza da Basso, a fortress in Florence, close to the Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station. These summer event in Florence will take place from July 21st to August 15th 2011.

Concerts, shows and other events this summer in Florence

The Global Village will include concerts, shows, exhibitions, meetings, debates and also food and beverage. The 2011 edition of the Fortezza d’Estate, the Summer Fortress and its Global Village, is located at Fortezza da Basso, an ancient fortress in the centre of Florence. Among the artists participating this year, Nicolò Fabi, Banda Osiris and Modena City Ramblers will make you enjoy their music in wonderful concerts. Sabina Guzzanti and Paolo Hendel will make you laugh and think about life and society in their shows. For children there will be a playground. These summer event  include many places where to eat and drink.

The Global Village  this year is designed to make you discover the Mediterranean, South America and Asia. There will be different events related to these areas of the world, such as music, debates, entertainment, food and beverage. In the fortress of Florence you will also find a bookshop area, a complete cinema program and a photography exhibition.
